Overview

Excellent opportunity for a FRCPC Pediatrician to join the vibrant and collegial group at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. The role involves working within a strong culture of teamwork while delivering excellence in care.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of 7 pediatricians providing general acute care, neonatal and consultant pediatric services to patients and families at RIH.
• Provide a busy and challenging practice alongside an excellent team of caring professionals.
• Collaborate in a referral centre serving Kamloops and the Thompson, Shuswap, Cariboo region with 9 pediatric beds; NICU level 2B nursery with 8+ beds.
• Involvement in teaching medical students and residents due to affiliation with UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program.
• Leadership development opportunities through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program (Emerging Physician Leaders).
