Reporting to the Clinical Trials Unit Manager, the Research Nurse focuses on screening patients for clinical trials and oversees consent processes. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to educate patients and families, conduct nursing assessments, and monitor trial progress for optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen patients for clinical trial eligibility
• Manage consent/assent documentation
• Organize and implement study-specific treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on trial protocols
• Collect specimens per study requirements
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Minimum 3 years of oncology experience
• CPR certification as per CCMB policy
