Our client in the technology industry is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing and related accounting functions. This role is ideal for a professional with strong payroll knowledge, excellent accuracy, and the ability to manage sensitive employee information in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process payroll accurately and on schedule for hourly and salaried employees
+ Review timekeeping records and ensure payroll data is complete and accurate
+ Maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings
+ Respond to employee questions related to payroll, pay statements, and deductions
+ Reconcile payroll reports and support general ledger entries related to payroll
+ Assist with payroll tax filings, year-end processing, and compliance reporting
