Payroll Coordinator
Job Description
Overview:
Our client is a large public oil & gas services company in Canada. Currently they are looking to add a Payroll Coordinator to the team. This is a full-time role out of the Calgary downtown office.
Responsibilities:
The Payroll Coordinator is accountable for the full-cycle processing of the Canadian payroll. This role blends being an individual contributor with team oversight, working with the Payroll Supervisor to developing the skills and competencies of each team member. Specific responsibilities include:
- Process payroll
- Ensure all post-payroll tasks and responsibilities are completed on time, including all statutory remittances, garnishments, GL reporting, all payroll reporting, etc.
- Group Benefits administration
- Mentor and train team members
- Work directly with managers, executives, and HR on special/ad hoc projects, payroll/data analytics, and custom reporting requests.
