Payroll Analyst
Job Description
The Payroll Specialist assists the payroll team by entering employee data into the payroll system and ensuring information is accurate and up‑to‑date. The role requires frequent interaction with employees, payroll analysts, HR business partners, and other departments to address payroll-related matters. This position provides administrative support to help the payroll team operate efficiently and resolve employee inquiries.
**What** **You’ll** **Do**
+ Enter accurate employee data into the payroll system for hires, terminations, vacations, leaves, and other personnel changes.
+ Represent the company in union meetings to review and approve termination calculations.
+ Support the electronic time and attendance system and assist with related issues.
+ Generate reports and maintain organized filing of all employee documentation.
+ Provide guidance to employees by answering payroll- and administration-related questions.
