Parts Purchasing Agent

Summary: The Purchasing Agent will work directly with the sales team and inventory manager to determine what inventory is needed to meet the requirements of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with Sales and Service operations.
• Source vendors and negotiate competitive pricing for products and services.
• Issue, review, and verify purchase orders for accuracy.
• Evaluate vendor performance and identify preferred suppliers.
• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or product availability.
• Negotiate cost reductions for large‑volume purchases.
