Join the Maternal, Infant, Child & Youth team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital as a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse, Perinatal. Provide essential care for childbearing patients in a supportive environment.
This role requires a Registered Nurse with experience in perinatal nursing. You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care in the perinatal clinical unit while collaborating with an inter-professional care team. Your focus will be on delivering person-centered care to improve patient and family outcomes throughout the perinatal period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments on admission and throughout care
• Collaborate on patient care plans with families and physicians
• Teach health promotion regarding pregnancy and newborn care
• Document nursing assessments and patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
