This role provides direct care to childbearing patients, emphasizing assessment and collaborative planning with families and healthcare professionals. You will be instrumental in creating an empathetic environment while adhering to established nursing standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments for mothers and newborns
• Collaborate in devising and modifying care plans
• Oversee nursing care coordination with inter-professional teams
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience
