Job Description
Make a difference in recovery as a Part Time Peer Support Worker at Bentley Place. Engage with residents, share experiences, and provide essential support on weekends.
This permanent position requires your lived experience with mental health and/or substance use. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, providing peer mentorship and fostering empowerment among clients. Your role focuses on skill building, emotional support, and facilitating connection with resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide peer-based support and guidance to service recipients
• Share personal recovery experiences to motivate clients
• Assist clients in goal setting and skills development
• Report unsafe conditions and client changes to supervisors
• Document case notes and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience, including lived experience
• First aid certification with CPR
• Valid driver’s licen...
