Join the Ey Stélmexw program as a Family Wellness Worker in Surrey, BC. This part-time position centers on providing support to Indigenous mothers facing mental health and substance use challenges.
FRAFCA seeks a Family Wellness Worker dedicated to helping families strengthen their relationships and navigate complex systems. You will engage in outreach, advocacy, and community-based circles while delivering trauma-informed care. Your role is pivotal for Indigenous mothers during their perinatal journey.
Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate healing and parenting circles within the community • Manage case load of 12-16 Indigenous families • Collaborate with Elders, mentors, and health professionals • Establish referral pathways and program materials • Document client progress and evaluations
