Part Time Addictions Counsellor Position

Enhance recovery outcomes as a Part Time Addictions Counsellor with RVH’s Supportive Pre-Treatment Program. Provide integral support through individual and group counselling that prioritizes client-centered care.

This role is for a part-time Addictions Counsellor responsible for guiding clients through their recovery journey. You will offer addiction counselling, conduct assessments, and engage clients in pivotal activities. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure families receive the necessary support throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide individual and group addiction counselling sessions • Conduct addiction-related assessments for clients • Facilitate psychoeducational and life skills groups • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress • Act as a liaison between patients and community partners
