Painter - Night Shift

Overview

Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran and a world leader in landing gear components. The Mirabel plant manufactures major components for Airbus A320, A330, A350 and Boeing 787.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mask the part according to the drawing.
• Prepare and apply paint using a spray gun in the paint booth.
• Place the part in the oven for drying.
• Inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operations and achievements in safety, quality, cost, and on‑time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Bodywork or skill cards as an automotive painter or AEP in industrial or aeronautical painting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a spray painter.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
