Position Overview
Conduct VA compensation and pension examinations for visual and eye related conditions
Examination only role, no treatment, no prescribing
Complete required disability questionnaires and structured documentation
Clinical Focus
Perform comprehensive ophthalmologic examinations including visual acuity, refraction when indicated, visual fields, extraocular motility, slit lamp, and fundus exams
Assess and document conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, optic neuropathy, and related trauma
Required Qualifications
MD or DO with completed ophthalmology residency
