The Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting food bank operations, including organizing inventory, assisting with distribution, covering managers position when away and helping maintain a welcoming environment for clients and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of Volunteers
- Support volunteer coordination and daily task assignments
- Receive, sort, and organize food donations
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Donation support as needed.
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Assist with special events and community outreach as needed
