Officer, Environmental Impact

Job Summary

The Officer, Environmental Impact is responsible for supporting the Western Region Manager in permitting and complying with CN's capacity expansion, maintenance projects, and special projects (fish passage, biodiversity, wildlife management) in the Western Region. The position supports infrastructure growth while minimizing environmental impacts and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role collaborates across multiple levels and functions, and ensures projects adhere to regulatory requirements, permit conditions, CN policies, and sound environmental practices.
