What you'll do
The Occupational Therapist works directly with individuals to restore or improve physical abilities, promote behavioral changes, adapt surroundings, and/or teach new skills, to achieve optimal physical and/or mental functioning in daily life tasks. The Occupational Therapist may provide evaluation and treatment of patients in acute care, nursing home, short-term rehabilitation and/or outpatient settings. The Occupational Therapist oversees services provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides. They are required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary care team. They may ass...
