Join Island Health as a full-time Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Contribute to patient care through advanced facilities and professional teamwork.
The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team of obstetricians providing care in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Holding or being eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is required. This role involves approximately one OR day weekly and includes paid on-call coverage, while engaging with a population of 125,000 and supporting a referral network of over 350,000.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide obstetric and gynecological services at the hospital
• Participate in paid on-call coverage with the care team
• Engage in teaching for UBC Island Medical Program residents
• Manage patient care in state-of-the-art facilities
• Collaborate with family physicians, midwives, and nurses
