Reporting to the Manager of Southampton site, the Nursing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day‑to‑day operations of the Medicine unit. The coordinator supports the delivery of care provided by nursing and interprofessional staff and provides direct patient care as required. The coordinator is responsible for staff scheduling, daily staffing assignments, patient movement and flow, and ensuring the availability and maintenance of equipment and supplies necessary for the delivery of safe, high‑quality care. The coordinator acts as a clinical and professional role model, promoting effective multidisciplinary communication, coordination of care, and the implementation of evidence‑based best practices.
