Elevate your nursing journey in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in downtown Toronto. This temporary role offers hands-on experience with neonates in critical conditions.
As part of Canada's largest high-risk center, you will gain invaluable clinical skills during this six-month contract. The NICU operates under a Family Integrated Care approach, ensuring parents are engaged in the healing process. You will handle a variety of patient cases, utilizing advanced technologies while honing your nursing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough assessments of newborns
• Assist with infant feeding assessments and techniques
• Conduct PIV insertions and necessary blood tests
• Provide care for infants equipped with advanced medical devices
• Undertake additional duties aligned with your nursing classification

• Current registration with the CNO
• Graduate from a CNO-approved nursing program
