Job Description

The Village of Miller Creek located in Ajax, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Contracted Music Therapist to join our team. 
• Status: Part-Time 
• Location: 1401 Harwood Ave N Ajax, ON L1T 4T9
• Expected Start Date: Fall 2026 

Hours: 65 hours / month

As a Music Therapist you will work as an independent contractor for Schlegel Villages you will support residents as needed and reflective of their care plans:
The Music Therapist will have a degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution and be eligible for Accreditation with The Canadian Association of Music Therapists. 

Plan, review and assessing therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness and to aid the planning of subsequent sessions.

Take an active role in sessions by playing, singing, and listening.
