**This is a casual, grant funded position which is subject to renewal on 06/30/2027.**
JOB SUMMARY:
The Music Therapist is responsible for providing group, individual, or family supportive therapy services to children and adolescents residing within RCHSD facilities or treatment areas. Develops and implements music therapy curriculum informed by the evidence-based models utilized on the unit. Collaborates with other interdisciplinary team members to develop and/or integrate individualized treatment plans. Develops suitable music programs for patients based on their needs, objectives, and preferred forms of creative expression.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in music therapy from an American Music Therapy Association approved University
1 Year of Experience
BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
Board Certified Music Therapy credential or eligibility. Application for certification to be completed within one year of hire a...
