Municipal Sustainability Manager – Townships of Wilmot and Wellesley

Responsibilities

As the Township Municipal Sustainability Manager you will:

• Manage and plan Corporate Climate Action, including developing a three‑year work plan aligned with SWR’s Impact Network Program, analyzing GHG, waste, and water data, prioritizing actions, and integrating plans into operational areas.
• Engage the community in projects and communications to reduce GHG emissions.
• Integrate sustainability activities across staff teams to embed sustainability into work plans.
• Manage Community Climate Action, implementing actions requested by the townships and representing the townships on the ClimateActionWR Steering Committee.
• Create a community climate action implementation plan with timelines and budget requirements.
• Seek funding opportunities to support corporate and community sustainability activities in both townships, including building retrofits and community projects.
