MRI Specialty Technologist, Medical Imaging (multiple opportunities)

The Medical Imaging Patient Service Unit is expanding their services and seeking dynamic individuals. The MRI technologist will work with the MR team. Duties will comprise a variety of clinical cases, including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and cardiac imaging, as well as supporting staff and maintaining safety and records.

• Provide exceptional patient care for neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and cardiac cases.
• Liaise with radiologists, sedation area staff, technologists and anesthesiology for anesthetic patients.
• Perform scans on a variety of clinical cases, ensuring accurate image acquisition.
• Ensure magnet safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate computer and image records with all required patient and exam information.
• Troubleshoot and ensure medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing efficiently.
