310T Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic

• Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required or recommended repairs.
• Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs, including engine failures, mechanical and electrical system failures, and replacement of parts and components.
• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Verify vehicle serviceability and ensure quality repairs the first time by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as required.
• Ensure that customer vehicles remain clean during the repair process.
• Contain costs by using warranties and evaluating service and parts options for repairs as required.
• Communicate with service advisors and/or dispatchers if additional work is needed.
