Mining Project Engineer
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external consultants, including mining, civil, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical.
Take on increasing ownership of mining and heavy industrial projects, supporting scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Provide technical and practical engineering support to mining clients, with an initial focus on underground mining operations.
Support construction and operational activities at active mine sites, including contractor coordination and issue resolution.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for internal and client use.
Plan and execute fieldwork, including site visits, safety assessments, subcontractor coordination, and data collection.
Support senior team members with client communication, proposal preparation, and pursuit of new work.
