Job Description
We currently have
an opportunity for a Mill Operator at our Portage la Prairie, MB. This position is responsible to operate all milling equipment and systems in the production of oat based ingredients.Responsibilities:
Operate all milling equipment, including grain cleaning, dehulling, kilning, flaking and oat flour manufacturing systems
Steam heat treatment of raw and finished products
Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on milling equipment
Test finished products and work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards
Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the mill and grounds
Accurately complete documentation for all processes
Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices
