Purpose of Role

Weir Marine Engineering (WME) has a requirement for a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to work with Windows Server, Directory Services, Azure cloud integration and related technologies in projects to develop, test and deliver complex IT solutions for existing and future ships of the Royal Canadian Navy. WME operates the Naval Engineering Test Establishment for the Department of National Defence. This is a very technical position for a subject matter expert, involving investigation, analysis and hands‑on work with systems in test environments to arrive at the architecture and detailed design for the systems.
