MI MRI Technologist (Nanaimo)

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Magnetic Resonance program and designation as a certified Technologist in Magnetic Resonance (RTMR) with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Three (3) years recent, related experience, including two (2) years MRI experience in an acute setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• CDH and WCG only: CPR Certificate - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.

Skills And Abilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of image quality assessment and control and diagnostic equipment procedures, radiation safety and quality control standards and practices.
• Demonstrate proficient skills with the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word and Excel, and medical imaging computerized applications, such as PACS.
