Metrology Engineer

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Support Method Development and Standardization: Assists in the development and standardization of mechanical inspection and measurement methodologies, procedures, and operator training under the guidance of senior staff.
- Fixture and Tooling Support: Supports the optimum design of fixturing, tooling, machines, sensors, and measurement systems by gathering data and performing initial analysis in collaboration with Design Engineering.
- Equipment and Capability Assessment Support: Assists in the assessment of existing metrology equipment capabilities and aids in the procurement and implementation of new equipment as needed.
- Metrology Concepts Application: Applies intermediate concepts and understanding of mathematical definitions of GD&T (e.g., ASME Y******) to ensure design intent for product, tooling, and machines.
