About Your New Role
The Metallurgy Technician will report to the Supervisor, Metallurgy, and support metallurgical process optimization through sampling, analysis, testing, and support of the plant’s automated systems and data integrity programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in metallurgical activities within the mill, including sampling, analysis, testing, and metallurgical accounting to support process evaluations.
- Support the commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of process automation and analyzer systems as the plant transitions into increased automation.
- Execute plant simulation and optimization bottle roll tests to support process tuning. <...
