Job Description
Take charge as the Mergers & Acquisitions Legal Director at Banyan in Toronto (Hybrid). You'll oversee the entire acquisition lifecycle while supporting a portfolio of tech-focused companies.
This strategic role requires strong leadership in legal due diligence, negotiation of agreements, and providing ongoing legal guidance to CEOs and operational leaders. You will transition into a pivotal portfolio position while building a best-in-class legal framework to guide M&A practices and commercial contracts within the company’s expanding software portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of legal due diligence processes
• Draft and negotiate various acquisition-related legal documents
• Manage external legal counsel as necessary
• Collaborate with M&A teams to drive successful deals
