Job Description
SaskAbilities is seeking a dedicated Mentor in Saskatoon to support individuals in developing essential employability skills! This part-time role facilitates community engagement and participant success.
This temporary position offers two days of work each week, lasting until March 31, 2028. As a Mentor, you will focus on crafting tailored plans that enhance participants' skills, monitor their progress, and provide necessary on-site support. Strong interpersonal skills will be key in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute personalized plans for skill development
• Mentor participants employed in the community
• Observe and report on participant progress and needs
• Ensure effective support and communication within the community
• Collaborate with Supervisors for participant goal alignment
Requirements:
• Disability Support Worker/Rehabilitation Worker Certificate
• Experience of 2-3 years in human services
