Mechanical Technologist – Environmental Infrastructure (Guelph)

We have opened a role in our Guelph office for a talented, entrepreneurial Mechanical Technologist to work alongside exceptional people in JLR's Environmental Infrastructure market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal design teams, sub-consultants, clients, and contractors to develop models and drawings from concept design to completion.
• Prepare mechanical bid and construction drawings and documents for various projects.
• Assist project managers, mechanical engineers, and other technologists with project execution during all project phases.
• Apply fundamentals and engineering tools to design piping, ductwork, and related systems.
• Complete site work and assist with contract administration during construction.
• Develop and communicate ideas utilizing sketching, 2D and 3D modeling, and photorealistic visualization techniques.
