Job Description
Contribute to mining and industrial projects as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and QA-QC Coordinator at Foothills Steel. This role focuses on quality assurance, welding documentation, and SolidWorks design.
You will work closely with senior engineers and management to support quality assurance and engineering activities. Your responsibilities will include developing Inspection & Test Plans, preparing quality documentation, and coordinating inspection activities. Ideal candidates are eager to dive into both technical office work and hands-on shop experience in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing Inspection & Test Plans for projects • Prepare manufacturing quality documentation and turnover packages • Coordinate inspection activities, including dimensional checks • Create and revise mechanical drawings using SolidWorks • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
