Materials Handler at Powell Edmonton

Take on an essential role as a Materials Handler with Powell in Edmonton. This position focuses on efficiently managing the movement and organization of parts in the manufacturing process.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be pivotal in loading, unloading, and organizing shipments efficiently. With a focus on accuracy and safety, you will also be interacting with teams to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move materials using forklifts, cranes, or handcarts
• Pick and pack parts accurately for shipments
• Prepare and stage goods for outgoing shipments
• Organize received materials and keep areas clean
• Attend safety meetings and promote workplace safety
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 0–3 years of manufacturing experience
• Understanding of mechanical components beneficial
• Safety training and certificates preferred
• Basic computer knowledge considered an asset
