Managing Director New Times Corporation at National Media Commission

The Managing Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the New Times Corporation and subject to such general directions as the Board may give is responsible for the overall leadership, co-ordination, guidance and supervision of the work of the corporation

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the corporation on a day-to-day basis

• Implement policies and support the formulation of strategic plans

• Ensure the preparation and submission of relevant reports on the operations of the corporation to the Board

• Develop and maintain a management culture that will foster co-operation, commitment, efficiently, accountability, productivity and healthy labour relations

• Develop and implement systems and methods for effective monitoring and control of activities of the corporation and healthy labour relations

• Any other relevant duties/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Board
