This full-time, permanent role reports to the Director of Planning & Development Services and plays a vital part in ensuring public safety through proper building practices. You will lead a team, manage operations, enforce regulations, and act as a key liaison across departments. Your leadership will be vital in driving improvements, efficiencies, and community trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage building permit applications and inspections
• Develop policies for effective service delivery
• Enforce the Ontario Building Code and related laws
• Guide internal departments on building safety issues
