Mammography Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for coordinating the performance of the mammographic program under the direction of the Imaging Director in conjunction with the Radiologist Medical Director. This includes shepherding patients through the full process of breast imaging and follow up including a full range of mammographic and osteoporosis exams in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing the highest quality diagnostic exam and environment for the customer. The development and implementation of a sustained Samaritan Breast Health Program is of prime concern. The Coordinator will oversee the education of technologists in mammography skills and techniques and ensure compliance with Federal Regulations and Accreditation in Mammography in conjunction with the Imaging Director and Radiologist Medical Director.
