Machine Operator – Kitchener, ON

We are looking for 4 Machine Operators to join our team in a metal manufacturing plant in Kitchener, ON.

Day and evening shifts available

Schedule: 5am-1:30pm Monday to Friday OR 2pm-10:30pm

Salary: 21.43$/hour + 1$ evening prime

Main tasks of the Operator:

• Operate overhead crane, bar bending, and sheer machines (training provided)
• Reading and following instructions on the bar lists provided in order to fabricate rebar
• Assisting equipment operators in material handling
• Tagging fabricated bundles for identification purposes
• Assisting in housekeeping duties for the yard and shop
• All other related tasks

Requirements for the Operator role:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Basic math/measurement skills
• Safety shoes
• Experience in the steel industry (strong asset)
