Logistics Coordinator

Full time, hourly position based at the Montpelier DC responsible for booking, scheduling and reporting on shipments. Liaison between transportation team and the export team to schedule, coordinate and collaborate domestic and export logistics with company staff and third-party haulers and freight forwarders. Coordinates with all departments to develop SOP’s and transportation policies to streamline processes and operate efficiently. This individual will be cross- trained for coverage of all positions and primary back up for invoice processing and discrepancies. Interacts with internal fleet during morning call-ins and assists with driver questions and concerns. Primary trainer for all dispatch positions and updates SOP’s periodically and as needed. Trains Agri-Mark warehouse staff and third-party carriers on the correct procedures and best practices for the Nextrack online scheduler.
