Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of insurance defence disputes autonomously
- Develop legal documents such as pleadings and affidavits
- Conduct mediations, applications, and trials independently
- Collaborate closely with legal teams and support staff
- Train and mentor other team members on best practices
Requirements
- Active member with the Law Society of Ontario
- 5+ years of experience in insurance litigation
- Proven skills in drafting legal materials and research
- Familiarity with ADR and independent trial experience
