Job Description
Our client is a well-established, full-service defence litigation firm with a strong presence in Western Canada. The firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Vancouver office, with a primary focus on strata (condominium) law matters. Represent strata corporations, insurers, and property management clients in a variety of disputes and advisory matters Handle litigation matters before the Civil Resolution Tribunal, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and other courts/tribunals Conduct negotiations, mediations, discoveries, and court appearances Advise clients on governance, bylaw enforcement, compliance, operational issues, and day-to-day strata matters Review bylaws, contracts, resolutions, opinions, and related legal documents Attend council meetings and annual general meetings as required Develop an...
