Linehaul Driver Float - Burnaby

Location and Schedule

Location: Burnaby, BC

Shift: 45 hours per week, floating schedule, flexibility required

Driver Requirements

3 years of Class 1 License and clean driver abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to/from customer locations.
• Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements.
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch.
• Pick up, deliver, and load/unload freight at customer locations.
• Scan freight upon pickup and delivery.
• Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor – 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer – 15-minute pre-trip per trailer).
