Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:A valid BC teaching certificate or eligibility for certification.Training or experience in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Learning Assistance, or a related field.Experience developing and implementing IEPs, including for students on modified or Evergreen programs.Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, social-emotional learning, executive functioning, and the Response to Intervention framework.Experience working with families, teachers, educational assistants, counsellors, and external professionals.Strong communication, organization, documentation, and case-management skills.A pastoral, student-centred approach rooted in patience, compassion, professionalism, and respect for the dignity of every learner.A commitment to the mission and identity of Catholic education.A Master’s degree in Inclusive Education, or progress toward one, is preferred.APPLICATION PROCESS Create your Complete al...
