Job Description
Enhance children’s literacy this summer as a Summer Program Assistant from June 26 to August 21, 2026. Play a vital role in program delivery and provide vital public service at the library.
In this position, you will report to the CEO while contributing to facilitating summer literacy initiatives for children. Responsibilities include assisting in program preparations, engaging in special projects, and handling library circulation tasks such as checking books in and out. Your efforts will ensure that the library remains an inspiring place for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in organizing children’s literacy programs
• Inspire a love of reading through engaging activities
• Work on projects like digitization of historical documents
• Execute circulation duties including book handling
• Keep the library organized and visually appealing
