Elevate young minds as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with YMCA in Edmonton, Alberta. Support children’s growth through engaging activities and compassionate caregiving in this full-time term role.
In this pivotal position, you will implement the YMCA approved curriculum for children aged 0-12. This includes facilitating creative exploration, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment, and observing child development to tailor learning experiences. You'll also communicate regularly with parents to provide updates and build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA curriculum for child development
• Facilitate engaging and creative children's activities
• Observe and document children's progress and behavior
• Maintain safety and compliance with health regulations
• Communicate daily with parents about their child's development
Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• Level 3 Child Care Certification (or in progress)
