Overview

We’re partnering with a mission-driven national government organization to recruit a Legal Counsel for a dynamic banking and finance role based in Toronto. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-profile Indigenous equity and infrastructure transactions across sectors including energy, natural resources and major projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in banking/finance, project finance or sophisticated transactional work from a leading Bay Street or in-house environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on banking, finance, project finance or sophisticated transactional matters related to Indigenous equity and major infrastructure transactions.
• Support transactions across sectors including energy, natural resources and major projects, with high visibility to senior leadership.
