Lead Parts Engineer

**Job Description Summary**: The Lead Parts Engineer is an instrumental member of the Parts Engineering team responsible for the technical support of Engineered and Transactional flowpart quotes and orders.
The Parts Engineering team is a key element of the Steam Power Parts business, consisting of a cross functional team of commercial, fulfilment, engineering, materials management and sourcing colleagues that deliver critical parts to support GE Customers.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The primary responsibility of the Lead Parts Engineer is to provide engineering and/or CMPD support for urgent engineered flowpart quotes and orders.
This includes, but is not limited to some or all of the following activities:
- Specify the design requirements for Steam Turbine Engineered flowparts, focused initially on urgent bucket flowparts but may also include other components such as packing rings, diaphragms, valves, bearings and other components.
