Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to support a distributed, high‑volume transaction processing platform within Global Payments Technology function. This role is not traditional DevOps. The focus is on operating, scaling, and stabilizing Camunda 8‑based workflow platforms used for headless, automated payment processing. The ideal candidate has strong experience with distributed systems, transaction processing environments, and Camunda 8 (Zeebe) running in production.
Key Responsibilities
Own the DevOps and operational support of a Camunda 8–based transaction processing platform
Deploy, operate, and scale Camunda 8 and Zeebe in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
Support headless, event‑driven workflows with minimal human intervention
Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance of distributed payment workflows
Troubleshoot and optimize transaction throughput, latency, and failure handling
