Job Description

The Laundry Aide is responsible for the collection, sorting, washing, repair and delivery of Resident's laundry.

Mission

The Laundry Aide provides essential laundry support to residents, ensuring cleanliness and timely delivery of linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and sorting of soiled personal clothing and linens, pre‑treating stains as required.
• Load and unload washers and dryers, ensuring proper settings and maintaining chemical supplies at appropriate levels.
• Inspect soiled linens or personal laundry and complete any required repairs (e.g., rips, tears, buttons).
• Fold, segregate, stack linens and residents' clothing and iron as required.
• Deliver linens and clothing to appropriate areas.
